Quality Cannabis Laboratories
Now offering the following services:
The potency analysis we offer analyzes 11 different cannabinoids found in various amounts within flower, concentrates, and infused products. After a representative sample is homogenized and its cannabinoids are selectively extracted, a HPLC equipped with Diode Array Detector is used to analyze the absolute concentration of cannabinoids.
Although not required by the BCC, an analysis of the terpenes within cannabis products can help identify the potential effects of a particular strain or product. The analysis we offer detects and quantifies 21 different terpenes known to modulate the effects of cannabis utilizing a GC/MS coupled with a headspace sampling unit.
Solvents (like butane, isopropyl alcohol, propane, or ethanol) are often used during the manufacturing of cannabis concentrates and infused products. Although these are often required to make particular products, the residual amounts of these various compounds present a health risk to consumers. The analysis we offer examines extracts and infused products using a GC/MS equipped with a headspace sampler to quantify the most common and restricted solvents which are used in the manufacturing of these products.
Pesticide are commonly used in many food crops and cannabis is no different. Given the extreme risk these present to the immunocompromised and humans in general it is important to ensure there is no pesticides present in any products above the recommended levels. The analysis we offer detects and quantifies 66 pesticides using both GC/MS/MS and LC/MS/MS following the homogenization and extraction of a representative sample. Additional pesticides can also be analyzed per customer requests
Microbial growth requires the presence of moisture to thrive and so to ensure cannabis and cannabis products are safe for consumption as well as enhance the shelf live fo products moisture needs to be kept in check. We offer both moisture content analysis, which uses a moisture balance to quantify the amount of moisture, as well as water activity analysis which utilizes a detector to determine the amount of water in the vapor phase. These data combined give the end producer and consumer valuable information about the potential for microbial growth.

These are neuro-toxic compounds produced by microorganisms which present an extreme danger for those with compromised immune systems. Contamination can occur at various stages of a product life cycle and persist through packaging and resale; therefore, it is important to test for these compounds prior to retail. The analysis we offer utilizes LC/MS/MS to detect and quantify 5 common mycotoxins.
Unwanted and unintended material can make their way into cannabis and cannabis products during cultivation, curing, manufacturing, storage, transporting and retail. We examine representative samples for hair, mold, insects, cinders, sand, dirt, soil, and even fecal matter using a microscope.
To ensure product to product homogeneity we offer an analysis that evaluates the variability of cannabinoids between the individual components of a product. In addition to aiding manufacturers in optimizing their productions conditions, this test adds to consumer confidence in a cannabis product and ensures a repeatable and consistent effect. Our homogeneity analysis is performed similar to our Potency analysis except it will be repeated at least 10 time per product and then the results are analyzed statistically to confirm uniformity.
